Our new Tweed 518 all valve handwired amps are back , based on the legendary 5f2-A circuit of the 1950's a variation on the legendary champ designs of the era . This is a single ended Class-A all valve amp handwired turret board construction classic guitar amplifier . The amp itself is driven by a single 6V6 tube in the power amp section and a 12AX7 preamp tube as well as a 6Z4 rectifier tube . The speaker is an 8' special design rated at 25watts so plenty of guts for its size , the cab is made of solid ply with an MDF rear baffle all wrapped up in a very nice tweed covering
